Import Orders from a CSV or TXT File: Online/Web

Endicia has integrations to many online marketplaces and sales channels. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to import orders from a source other than a connected store. For example, you may sell on a store that Endicia does not integrate with, but you can export your order information from your store into a CSV or TXT file.

The good news is that with Endicia you can easily import order information from a file. You then have all the tools available to you to ship your orders.

In this article, we will take a look at how to create a properly formatted CSV file containing your orders and how to import the file from your computer into Endicia Online.

Subscription Plan Requirement

This feature is not available for all subscription plans. If you would like to use this feature but cannot access it as described here, you will need to upgrade your plan.

Visit our plan pricing page to see what features are available with our current plans. To upgrade your plan, go to the profile menu in your account and choose Mange Account > Subscription Plan.

Create the Import File

You can import your orders from the following file types:

  • CSV (Comma Separated Value) file

  • TXT (Text) file

These steps guide you through using our sample CSV file to create an import file containing your order information. This is the recommended method since it ensures that the import file is properly formatted to import into Endicia.

Import the Order File

Now that you have added your orders to the import file and saved the file to your computer, you can import your orders.
