Fund Your Account Balance

Your balance is a pre-funded account that pays for postage purchases, added package insurance, and any related post-shipment adjustments.

Before purchasing postage, you want to ensure that your account's payment method is correct and that enough funds are in your balance to cover these purchases. This limits interruptions or errors in your shipping process

You can fund your Endicia account in two ways: manually or with auto-funding. A minimum purchase of $10 is required when adding funds to your account.

Follow the steps below to purchase funds manually or to auto-fund your account.

Purchase Funds Manually

To add funds to your account manually:

  1. Click on the drop-down menu for your account balance and select Buy More.

  2. Select the amount, then click Purchase.

  3. Click Confirm on the Confirm Transaction pop-up.

  4. Click OK once your transaction is complete.

    Your new balance is displayed.


Error Adding Funds

If you receive an error when you try to purchase funds manually, ensure that the payment method for the account is correct or has not expired. For more information, review our guide on updating your payment method.

In instances where the card and expiration date are current yet still declining, please get in touch with the card carrier for further assistance.

If you determine the issue is not related to your payment method, please contact us for further assistance.

Auto-Fund Your Account

To set your account to add funds automatically:

  1. Click on the drop-down menu for your account balance and select Buy More.

  2. Select Auto-fund account in the Add Funds pop-up window.

  3. Check the box next to Automatically purchase. Then, set the amount and the level at which funds are added to your account, and click Save.


Congratulations. You have successfully set up automatic funding for your Endicia account.
